American Animal Health, Inc. Corporate Overview
American Animal Health, Inc. was founded in April 1983. The company is closely held by two families, J. B. Payne and Hsi-tang (Nick) Tung. Both owners are Doctors of Veterinary Medicine with Ph.Ds in Veterinary Microbiology. American Animal Health is a manufacturer and distributor of biological and pharmaceutical products, including vaccines, for large animal veterinarians throughout the United States and Canada.

Jerry B. Payne, D.V.M, Ph.D., American Animal Health, Inc.s President and co-founder, has worked in human and animal biologics since 1966, serving as Senior Microbiologist, Director of Scientific Affairs and Director of Operations at various major biological companies. Dr. Payne is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Microbiologists and has chaired various committees of the Veterinary Biological Section of the American Health Institute. In 2002, Dr. Payne was awarded the Outstanding Alumnus Award by the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. |

Hsi-tang (Nick) Tung, D.V.M., Ph.D., Executive Vice President and co-founder, has worked in animal vaccine production for over 30 years. He was a Senior Microbiologist, Director of Quality Control and Director of Research and Development at several major biological firms. He and his R&D group continue with the important research and development of new vaccines for the US and Canadian cattle industries. |

Frank Andrews, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, is a native Texan with a degree from Texas Tech in Agriculture Economics. Frank has many years in the field of Pharmaceutical Sales with a broad range of expertise in the cattle industry. Before coming to American Animal Health, Frank served as Biological Product Manager for a large midwest firm. As VP of Sales and Marketing, Frank manages American Animal Health's private label opportunities in the large animal areas as well as assisting with private label vaccine operations in the US market. |
